Why are ants attacking my house/kitchen?

In short, tracking ants found a source of food or water in the room and led the whole colony to your doorstep.

I keep killing them and cleaning where I find them, but they keep coming back!

Once the ants are indoors they will continue to search for food and water. The mass majority of the ants will reside out of plain sight.

If I just keep the area clean, the ants will eventually go away, right?

I'm fed up!

Wrong... Ants are in it for the long haul! They will often widen their search for their base needs and enter additional areas of the home.
